- We recommend every 3-4 track days removing the pinion and the wheels to check for any necessary maintenance needs. If the bearings feel gritty or have reduced roll, remove bearings and clean with a citrus-based degreaser & lightly oil with our premium Dirt-Defending high temperature lube/oil....Rc Speed Secret's 2 in 1 Super-LUBE & Cleaner all in one. Car brake parts cleaner will ruin your bearings and is NOT recommended.

Best upgrade I could have made!

Prior to installing the RCSS ceramic bearings, I had been circling around 3rd to 5th place (4wd Intermediate). This last week, I went through my car, set it up with the exact same setup (Frank Root/kit setup), same gearing, same motor, and same electronics. The only change I made was installing the RCSS ceramic bearing set throughout my car. I went to the next race day, and after driving it, felt that the performance of my car had significantly improved. My car drove quicker, smoother, and lighter. It didn’t feel like I had to push my car around the track like it did before. That also allowed me to focus more on driving. My car had smoother and faster acceleration, rolled into/around the turns quicker, and felt more responsive to my input. My fastest lap times were faster by .32 over previous weeks. Everything came together and I took home the win in 4wd for my first time! Thank you RCSS for the awesome product and solid technical support!
